URL: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?58327> Summary: License problem due to openssl linking due to postgresql Project: PSPP Submitted by: beckmanf Submitted on: Thu 07 May 2020 06:10:53 PM UTC Category: Documentation Severity: 3 - Ordinary Status: Need Info Assigned to: None Open/Closed: Open Release: None Discussion Lock: Any Effort: 0.00 _______________________________________________________ Details: Debian filed a bug against pspp because we have some postgresql support which results in linking against openssl. Openssl has some incompatible license to GPL. See: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=924937 I think what they propose is that there might be some additional license info from pspp that it is o.k. to link against openssl. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?58327> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/
