For many reasons (types of analysis, by error) you may need a statistician to
change between numeric and string type. This does not mean that value labels
must disappear.

I am 20+ years statistician with experienc in R, pspp, jamovi, jasp etc. 

If you like to add a button to clear all values automatically,

 this can be inside value labels menu "clear all labels".
This will be very useful for many, especially when value labels contains 20+
value labels.

pspp v.2.0.0.
