In September I suggested that documentation could also be dually licensed under
GPL and GFDL.

It has now been confirmed that this is acceptable by

   I would recommend instead that manual authors give specific permission
   for portions of their manual to be included in GPL software on an
   as-needed basis.  This prevents abuse, while still allowing use.  Of
   course, manual authors are free to grant such permissions if they
