[bug-hello] reverse patches don't apply.

hello, "hello" maintainers!

i am about to deploy the faboulous hello software for a cvs tutorial
and am in the middle of faking a half-decent and not-too-complex
repository.  a few questions came up:

 1) why does the patch hello-1.0-1.1.diff.gz not reverse-apply like
    the others up to 1.3?  i don't see what i did different, so my bet
    is there is a problem with the patches.

 2) if you happen to be in posession of a real cvs repository, or any
    other repository for that matter, or more intermediate releases,
    i'd love to get hold of them.
