The more I think about it, the less I think we "need" a new
release.
Nobody needs a release, really. You can always point to a date in
CVS.
We we need is to spread the word. A good deal of the information
available is outdated, many of the websites are not up to date,
there is very little information about the L4 port, etc.
The only website that matters is the Hurd project website, if you
consider something outdated there, then it is your duty to atleast
report it. The reason why we don't have anything about the Hurd/L4 is
that it is still in development and it is usual in the GNU project not
to disucss things that are in development.
I think a lot of people get the impression that nothing is
happening. Hell if you look at savannah (which I haven't recently
so maybe I'm off base here), you would think nothing has happened
in years.
Why would you think that?
As for people sending articles to kerneltrap, please send a news blurb
to web-hurd@gnu.org about it too.
