Curses vs. Ncruses for readline?

Hey'all.

The mail/ link to curses appears to link in a broken curses library on
SCO.  The best thing in my case is to link in ncurses instead.  Should
I change the link to ncurses only, or should I set it up to test for
the functions in ncurses, curses, and then fail if necessary.
