chicken-setup is not supported on native windows platforms.
But you can work around it somewhat.

chicken-setup has to be compiled to work properly.
What you should do is compile the stuff by hand:
csc make-support.scm -s -O2 -d0
copy make.scm %CHICKEN_REPOSITORY%
copy make-support.dll %CHICKEN_REPOSITORY%
and execute "(require-extension make)" in your code.
Sorry, I can't test it right now, but be assured that it can
be made to work.
Should this not work, let me know. I'll post a solution,
as soon as I'm back home.
