IMO Jabber solves a *lot* of problems we have with Webservices -- like
Presence (I'm tired of sending that session-id everytime stuff) etc...
Also it's a win-win situation for both DotGNU and Jabber. Jabber gets a
facelift from "Yet another AIM client" (from the slashdot article) to
a "XML Based Protocol" (which is the right idea). DotGNU gets a boost
in its webservice arena and help us lose that "Following MS around" image.
It's time we did something proactive !.
