GNURPC is alive and well in GNUe's common module in cvs, someone has
even gotten xmlrpc to work in order to write a PHP GNUe Forms client.
Also, I believe the OMG has now gone to a Model Driven Architecture
(MDA) that is supposed to support multiple middlewares. It sould be
very interesting, basically they are using UML and generating code
from that to fit into their architecture. They are making some
extensions to UML to facilitate this. You should be able to find more
info on that at http://www.omg.org/mda/.
Cheers,
Dan

And if cynics ridicule freedom, ridicule community...if ``hard nosed
realists'' say that profit is the only ideal...just ignore them, and use
copyleft all the same.
