Write your application over libgnokii. gnokii cli is a sample
application making use of all libgnokii capabilities but it is not
intended to be wrapped. It would be the best to have Python/Perl/Ruby
bindigs for that but apparently noone with development skills has
enough interest in it.
You can also hack around SMSD as well if the reason is just to send SMS.

Just keep in mind that putting PIN in plain text into some script or
config gives pretty high security risk.

And I think I'll stop responding to people using such old versions. It
really doesn't make sense. If someone disrespects our work and us
asking for using most recent version as possible, I cannot be helpful.
