Using SGR doesn't automatically mean color support! For example, to
have a bold letter A, grotty currently writes
A^HA
(^H is <BACKSPACE>)
In SGR mode, this will be done as
^[[1mA^[[22m
(^[ is <ESC>)
The former works only with `less', the latter with e.g. `xterm' also.
Use `-P-c' as an additional groff option to not use SGR output.
