False alarm. Looking at the source code of gcc/config/arm/linux-eabi.h
and seeing a patch in Debian made me think that we needed a patch in
order to make this work, but testing indicates that the hard-float ABI
is being used by GCC by default without any patches.
So, nevermind :)
