    It seems to be already there in a fresh bash:

    $ bash --norc --noprofile
    bash-5.2$ bind -Xps | grep 000
    "\e\e\000": complete

ESC-ESC is a standard binding for `complete'. I'm not sure how the \000
gets in there.
