[iiwusynth-devel] ridiculous question |

Hi,
I often talk to musicians I know about free creative software. One of the
lacks in it I was told the last time was absense of AKAI-samples support. I
tried to discuss it in Rosegarden mailing list because I know about a usual
way e,g, in Logic Audio to load an akai- sample instead of a SF2, but I was
told, it would be better to ask this question here. So, are there any plans on
implementing akai-samples support? There's nothing about it in your TODO as in
CVS.
BTW, in the next year ALT Linux will be making a multimedia release, similar
to what ANULA is doing, but it will be powered by APT for RPM ;) We already
have iiwusynth in our package repository (though it's 0.2.2 only there). We
are planning to have a big good manual in Russian for this release. The reason
I'm telling you this is: we would like to have as much documentation as
possible so we are kinda counting on yoo too :-)
My question on compiling Swami from CVS will go part from this mailing list
:-)
I wish you good luck with your project!
