I don't understand what it is that you want to do. You've checked out
an old revision of a file and made changes to it. Now, what is it that
you want to do with those changes? Do you want to merge them into the
current revision of the file? If so, use update -A. That will merge
your changes into the most recent revision of the file and you'll be
able to commit it if you want. If you want to do something else, please
explain in more detail exactly what.
