I managed to do it. Just for the record, the lines that did the magic: export CVS_RSH="ssh" export CVSROOT=":ext:address@hidden:/path/to/cvsroot" then use cvs in the normal fashion. Thanks, Ray Arthur Barrett wrote:
Ray,Can I use my SSH privileges on M1 to access the cvs repository from M2?Short answer is yes.Details vary depending on the exact client and server versions (especially if the client or the server is CVSNT/WinCVS/TortoiseCVS). Most of the setup is client related - so check that and go to the appropriate newsgroup for that client. Regards, Arthur
