Just to be clear, the documentation you point to
indicates that
cvs edit -c
does exist, but is only useful in conjunction with
cvs commit -c
and this locking is advisory rather than mandatory
or exlusive in nature.
Yes, CVSNT does have exclusive locking which is
probably what Frank wanted, but I wanted to be
sure that folks understood the distinction.
