Yes, it is. I did this with it:

Using lilypond from cvs in my debian system (unstable), with approx.
theese steps:
dpkg -i .../ec-fonts-mftraced_1.0.7-1_all.deb
# which I build from cvs
cvs -q upd -dP -r lilypond_2_4_2
./autogen.sh --prefix=$HOME
make clean all install
. buildscripts/out/lilypond-profil
cd ~/.../ThomasMorley
make all
