As far as I know, the answer is no.
This is a feature that I’ve long desired — and am still willing to sponsor —
not just for frenched staves, but for part-combined staves. If I understand
Scheme engravers correctly (which is far from guaranteed), this *should* be a
relatively easy engraver to design and implement… but it’s definitely above my
pay grade.
