Since such a feature is likely to be "static" for an individual user, I
don't think a command line switch is necessary. A lynx.cfg setting should
be all that's required (though having it settable in the o(ptions) screen/
menu might be nice also).

I haven't tried your patch, but it seems to me that the behavior for the
left-arrow key ought to be the same for *all* text entry fields, not just
TEXTAREA fields (maybe it is, and it's just your use of TEXTAREA that is
confusing).
