Offhand, I had thought you might be reporting a problem with GNUTLS, and
intended investigating it in detail this week (was busy with another bug
report).

However, the url opens with this version in Debian:

ii  lynx               2.8.8dev.9-3    Text-mode WWW Browser (transitional 
package)
ii  libgnutls26        2.12.16-1       GNU TLS library - runtime library

Here is the version message (at the moment I'm updating that machine):

Lynx Version 2.8.8dev.9 (12 Jun 2011)
libwww-FM 2.14, SSL-MM 1.4.1, GNUTLS 2.12.14, ncurses 5.9.20110404(wide)
Built on linux-gnu Jan  3 2012 07:18:25

I do not recall noticing any recent package problems with lynx in Debian.
