I take it you are not finding the option that allows all cookies to be accepted as working? I can give you a good example why perhaps simply stopping speech is a safer bet.
Currently I am facing issues using Lynx at amazon.com.
One error states that cookies are not being accepted, but I can prove otherwise with those cookie messages. since you I would hope, can halt unwanted speech at any time, why can you not simply stop the cookie related messages?

Hello Lynx Developers,

I've been involved with Vinux Linux originally based on Debian, then Ubuntu
and now Slint based on Slackware.

You probably know that might bind and sight impaired computer users can
excel with computers by using command line tools.

Many of these people use lynx.

What is very difficult for us is overriding the many announcements about
accepting cookies and other announcements that are surely important to the
other developers and users of lynx in their work with web development and
testing.

I'd like to ask if you would put in a option that could be saved to be
quiet when browsing the web. Accept all cookies etc.

It would make a group of passionate lynx users very happy.

Some of the more learned members of the community have modified
/etc/lynx.conf but not completely satisfactorily.

Best wishes,
