Thank you for your offer to help. I have downloaded 7z_xorfilter_v0.7z and will try to replace the xor codec in it with the decompression code of lzip. But I can't compile the codec because I don't own any Microsoft software. I don't even remember who compiled my patch for 7zip.
Trying to integrate it into 7zip code is not going to work. You had tried, some oher people had tried, and you all had been brushed off. I guess, its because Pavlov sees it as a competitor to his child (and yes xz is also 'his', as he actively participated in it). Nothing you can do.
If Igor Pavlov sees lzip as a competitor to xz and 7zip, then it is a pity because it is not. Lzip is designed for long-term archiving, while xz and 7zip are designed for features. IIRC xz can be extended to up to 2^63 filters.
Best regards, Antonio.
