It would be nice to have a way to send (or possibly even generate for manual
sending) a series of patches in a manner similar to what git and hg allow. The
lack of this particular feature is one of the main complaints I hear about
monotone, behind database size and speed complaints. In the view of those who
issue the complaints, it's unreasonable to expect the person to run a netsync
server for other people to pull from, and at least in Pidgin's case we have no
intention of opening a netsync server for writing by anyone.
I did once look at trying to implement this as a user command in lua a few
months ago, but it appeared to be more complicated than I was willing to deal
with writing myself.
