Out of curiosity: do you ever use --breaklonglines?  If yes, in what
situations?

Laggy ssh connections could well interfere, but I don't think anyone
could type fast enough to trigger the auto-indent suppression.

It allows undo fine, just not in one go.  But the current patch set
for bracketed pastes does not undo an external paste in one go either.
