Follow-up Comment #112, bug #44478 (project octave): Summarizing: Either Nvidia and OSmesa will never be able to work together, or devising a workaround is going to require months of programmer time. I think the best course now is to search for a way to detect the library clash and avoid it by disabling offscreen rendering with osmesa at runtime.
