Follow-up Comment #17, bug #44470 (project octave): Sorry I have completely misled. Octave-gui is also console program with (perhaps) hidden console window. Thus Ctrl+C also works on octave gui but it does not work correctly. Press Control-C again to abort means that Ctrl+C is detected by the implemented mechanism. However, the second press Ctrl+C causes octave segfault. I have succeeded building octave for windows on the native windows [1]. I will try to run octave by ./run-octave -g tommorrow.
