Here is a minimal example which does not depend on test.
run-octave --gui -f
__octave_link_disable_breakpoints__
dbstop quantile>__quantile__
dbclear all
__octave_link_enable_breakpoints__
clear -f
It is when the function is cleared from memory that it appears in the editor.
