Follow-up Comment #11, bug #56884 (project octave):
Michael Leitner: You did not really intend the tests
for your pairwise_mean to test iter_mean did you?
Also, I did not see anything that looked like Kahan summation
in scripts/statistics/mean.m. Am I missing something?
