Dmitri is probably referring to bug #59206.
That bug is already fixed in MXE Octave. But the fix is not yet part of any
"official" release candidate.
@Charles Praplan: Could you test if the crash still occurs with a recent
nightly build? You could download those from Kai's buildbots:
