Follow-up Comment #2, bug #60334 (project octave):

Do you have the ability to build Octave from development sources?  I'ts pretty
easy on Linux.

There has been quite a bit of re-factoring on the development branch around
the shutdown sequence for Octave, and I need to verify whether it has been
fixed there already.  If it has, then your one-line fix is probably fine for
the stable branch (6.2.0), but shouldn't be propagated to the development
branch.

Or the development branch also has this issue, in which case the patch should
be applied everywhere (stable and development).
