Follow-up Comment #5, bug #60742 (project octave):
Thanks for your detailed instructions, Rik! They made me remember that I have
an (ancient) startup.m file on this Win 10 machine, it also increases the
default font size in plots.
After removing this startup.m (like a .octaverc) the "test hgsave" now
finishes without any fails. (Also the fails on Octave 6.2.0 disappeard.)
So please close this issue as "WORKS FOR ME", and sorry for the noise.
