Follow-up Comment #3, bug #60748 (project octave):

Thank you so much! I was not aware that I have to supply a column vector. As
you can see, in simple cases a column vector works, too. That's why I didn'd
suspect that point. The documentation should clearly say 'column vector'
instead of 'vector'.
