Follow-up Comment #1, bug #62393 (project octave):
Example code for nonlin_curvefit from
https://octave.sourceforge.io/optim/function/nonlin_curvefit.html also results
in the same error in 7.1.0.
It also results in additional warnings regarding 'vfzero' and 'lsqlin' unless
both "pkg load statistics" and "pkg load optim" is loaded.
