URL: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?62417> Summary: Format names misspelled in documentation of format() Project: GNU Octave Submitted by: gwiora Submitted on: Thu 05 May 2022 03:53:58 PM CEST Category: Documentation Severity: 3 - Normal Priority: 5 - Normal Item Group: Documentation Status: None Assigned to: None Originator Name: gwiora Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Release: 7.1.0 Discussion Lock: Any Operating System: Any _______________________________________________________ Details: The names of the numeric formats than can be specified as argument to the "format" command seem to be misspelled on the doc page. The documentation lists the following format names: * "short e" * "short eng" * "long e" * "long eng" * "short g" * "long g" I cannot exclude that the implementation of "format" is wrong. At least it is accepting the following formats in the current version 7.1.0 * "shorte" * "shorteng" * "longe" * "longeng" * "shortg" * "longg" _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?62417> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/
