Follow-up Comment #14, bug #62468 (project octave):

Yes, there is a (:) hidden inside. Which trivial integrand did get really
slow? If it is really trivial, then already the first stage of the refining
should return, where you evaluate the function at 650 points. And 650*5e7 is
only 3e10. Multiplying this number of entries by weighting factors and summing
should not take so extraordinarily long.
