Follow-up Comment #6, bug #62468 (project octave):

I tested the second version of quadgkv.m and it successfully handles the case
I found in comment #1.

Is the "h0" variable used in the original Shampine paper?  I agree that it is
unused in the code now, but maybe there was some reason for it that was not
correctly translated from the academic paper when the original quadgk.m was
written.
