Follow-up Comment #4, bug #63384 (project octave):

The patches for bug #49091 should only be affecting the result of inverse
trigonometric or hyperbolic functions (e.g., acosh and alike). I'm not sure if
those are used for matrix inversion.

Maybe a linear algebra library? Like OpenBLAS or alike?
