Thanks for reporting back.

I couldn't find a bug report that tracks the incompatibility with the new
Windows Terminal. So, I'm changing the summary to make it easier to find this
report.

I think I've seen a similar paragraph about an issue being fixed and available
in the next minor release in the past.
Was that added to your post automatically?
To avoid confusion for anyone coming across this: This compatibility issue
hasn't been fixed in Octave.
