Follow-up Comment #1, bug #64775 (project octave):

I made a patch to match the new behaviour of some expressions propagating
nargout -1.

I also made a fix for a VM bug the new tests for #63841 exposed. I.e. that
undefined values as rhs in for-loops didn't work if the undefined value was
the result of a call/subsref.
