Follow-up Comment #14, bug#64982 (group octave):

Well, I know the cause now.  In the .ts files that work, the component
declaration is fully qualified meaning it includes the "octave::" namespace.


    <name>octave::main_window</name>


So, the question is how to get Qt and its lupdate program to insert that tag.

Good news, translations have not been wasted.
