It is also pretty minimal :-) , does not support reading
articles etc but this can be added easily.

If you have big enough memory it can even feed the
whole xover of this alt.... group. Since pan is
addressing the xover information in blocks from higher to lower
article numbers I have put the whole xover stuff into a perl hash.

Feel free to enhance. If there is interest on the xover
fetching perl script I can post this as well (it is not
really ready for end users though).

Currently I am trying to spam-filter based on 
ratio article bytes / lines using this xover "server" :-)
