We should definetly get rid off those steps that require user to have 
autotools installed.
In the beginning I checked out the admin folder from the cvs, but I had 
some problems using it (I don't remember anymore what those were).

I have feeling that current problem is in 'make dist', which some how is 
 not doing all that it shoud do...
