hello ! perhaps you could explain why you need to run rdiff-backup chrooted ? maybe, there are other ways to workaround your "problem" !?
It looks like cx_freeze is used to create standalone executables from python programs ...i`m not sure, but will any python compiler (or whatever) create _real_ standalone executables ?

I am placing rdiff-backup into a jailed/chrooted environment where it is impossible to allow access to, or even have the presence of, python itself. So I need a standalone rdiff-backup. It looks like cx_freeze is used to create standalone executables from python programs ... does anyone have a recipe or HOWTO to do this ? Has anyone here ever done it ? Comments / suggestions ? _______________________________________________ rdiff-backup-users mailing list at address@hidden http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/rdiff-backup-usersWiki URL: http://rdiff-backup.solutionsfirst.com.au/index.php/RdiffBackupWiki
