On Sunday, Jun 25th 2006 at 11:17 -0400, quoth Steven W. Orr:
=>I just upgraded and now I'm getting a changed (and unwanted behavior).
=>
=>My startup optios are:
=>
=>EXTRA_FLAGS="-m -u steveo -r -1 -i 192.168.0.1/24 -i 127.0.0.1/24"
=>
=>What's happening now is that the spam is being delivered to me as if the -r
=>option is not there. I am running a few mailinglists here and I think the
=>problem is happening to messages that are sent to an address that has no user
=>(like a listname).
=>
=>What can I do to cause these messages to be rejected like they were with the
=>older version.
=>
=>TIA
=>
It turns out it was cockpit error. The init script was referencing
SM_EXTRA_FLAGS instead of EXTRA_FLAGS. All is good in the universe again.
The flags were being set in /etc/sysconfig/spamass-milter to make it just
slightly less obvious.
