Thanks for the reply,
I can't immediately see any difference between the usb-p1k and the usb-p4k.
USB programming is not my thing but I'll keep looking. I have a feeling this
could be very tricky.
For anyone else working on this here is a cat /proc/bus/usb/devices with a p4k
plugged in:
T: Bus=05 Lev=02 Prnt=02 Port=03 Cnt=03 Dev#= 6 Spd=12 MxCh= 0
D: Ver= 2.00 Cls=00(>ifc ) Sub=00 Prot=00 MxPS=64 #Cfgs= 1
P: Vendor=6993 ProdID=b001 Rev= 0.00
S: Manufacturer=Yealink Network Technology Ltd.
S: Product=VOIP USB Phone
C:* #Ifs= 4 Cfg#= 1 Atr=80 MxPwr=500mA
I: If#= 0 Alt= 0 #EPs= 0 Cls=01(audio) Sub=01 Prot=00 Driver=snd-usb-audio
I: If#= 1 Alt= 0 #EPs= 0 Cls=01(audio) Sub=02 Prot=00 Driver=snd-usb-audio
I: If#= 1 Alt= 1 #EPs= 1 Cls=01(audio) Sub=02 Prot=00 Driver=snd-usb-audio
E: Ad=82(I) Atr=01(Isoc) MxPS= 16 Ivl=1ms
I: If#= 2 Alt= 0 #EPs= 0 Cls=01(audio) Sub=02 Prot=00 Driver=snd-usb-audio
I: If#= 2 Alt= 1 #EPs= 1 Cls=01(audio) Sub=02 Prot=00 Driver=snd-usb-audio
E: Ad=04(O) Atr=01(Isoc) MxPS= 16 Ivl=1ms
I: If#= 3 Alt= 0 #EPs= 1 Cls=03(HID ) Sub=00 Prot=00 Driver=(none)
E: Ad=81(I) Atr=03(Int.) MxPS= 16 Ivl=20ms
If anyone has better ideas about USB, I'm prepared to put the time in to try
and make this work but I need some pointers on how to tell which phone is
plugged in.
thanks,
Adam
