...on further reflection, I think I see your point. Although the 
'float' change does fix the factorial calculation in gprolog, it really 
shouldn't be necessary for a result (such as factorial of 12) that is 
within the range of a 32 bit signed integer. There does seem to be a 
problem with gprolog's integer arithmetic.
