I know this feeling :-) Too often I made the same mistake.

Reviews in companies with good engineers are often much more tedious (of 
course, you learn a lot)... the only way to get things done in reasonable time 
is creating small PRs. And my response to demands for extensions / additional 
work often is "Good idea, let's do this in a follow-up PR. I created issue #xyz 
for it so we don't forget." =)
