OK you had better add it to the menu.
System>Preferences>Main Menu
You should have a listing there for HamRadio, if not open synaptic and
add a few of the ham applications, fldigi, gmfsk etc.
that should make it add it.
Check the other menu items before you start adding new ones, You might
just find Xlog in Accessories.
You can activate menu items by ticking the boxes
