Hi Joop & Co.
I've changed distro , gone back to mandriva again.
If anyone has a AMD64 machine running Ubuntu, don't upgrade to 9.04 and
turn off any back ports..
Can I build xlog without hamlibs.
I have compile hamlibs, and installed into :-
usr/local/lib/libhamlib++.a
/usr/local/lib/libhamlib++.la
/usr/local/lib/libhamlib++.so
/usr/local/lib/libhamlib++.so.2
/usr/local/lib/libhamlib++.so.2.0.5
/usr/local/lib/libhamlib.a
/usr/local/lib/libhamlib.la
/usr/local/lib/libhamlib.so
/usr/local/lib/libhamlib.so.2
/usr/local/lib/libhamlib.so.2.0.9
I ran strace on .,/configure, but it isnt say where its looking.
most of my libs are in /usr/lib64,
or should I run configure --with-hamlibdir= /usr/local/lib/
not too sure of the correct syntax for that
TIA

Best wishes
